Creative Prose
Finley Brandow is a young, creative mind who plans to study Library Science while
working on publishing their own writing. They've always had a passion for literature and
will always 昀椀nd a way to make writing a part of their life, either by partaking in the craft,
or by reading the wondrous words weaved by others.
Monya Castle is an avid reader and general lover of words. She hopes to one day have
the courage and commitment to submit her own work for publication, but until then she
will settle for reading the amazing pieces submitted to SQN.
Chris Welsh has lived long and written deep—if this is all, he is content.
Christy Wright is an experienced educator with 18 years in teaching and a passion for
student success. She earned her degree in Health and Human Performance and previously
worked as an Exercise Specialist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christy is a proud wife and mom of
two boys and enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, Twixy and Penny.
Poetry
Sarah Sands Phillips (b. Tsí Tkaròn:to, Canada) is a Red River Métis/British-Irish artist
and poet. She holds an MFA from the Ruskin School of Art at the University of Oxford (2019) and has exhibited in Canada and internationally. Her writing has appeared
in Channel; Splinter; tba: Journal of Art, Media, and Visual Culture; and Public, among
others. She is currently based in Japan.
Christopher Leigh Silverberg is Black, queer, churchy, writes poems, loves theater,
helps other people make 昀椀lms and loves all of these things. His is grateful to his teachers
at Columbia University and Cave Canem. He is an incoming poetry MFA candidate at
Hunter College.
