many other things, and if the award should come, great.= Awards are incidental to the entire
thing. For me, as long as this allows me the opportunity to be able to feed my child, make
new friends, sit in a wonderful interview with two really amazing creatives, and talk about
life, that is the purpose of why you should be pursuing the art.

FG: I appreciate you all. Y'all are amazing. Defeat your enemies. Remember, you are all
Godzilla, and life is your Tokyo. Destroy it, you know? You are the winter, and life is your
Napoleon. Freeze him! It is all possible.
Franky D. Gonzalez is a Latino playwright based primarily in Dallas. Appearances

fellow in the Sony Pictures Television Diverse Writers Program and serving as a staf writer for
the fourth season of 13 Reasons Why and Sony/Amazon9s Silk: Spider Society. He currently is
